Colombo’s underground bass music scene is making noise again. Bass Bridges Vol. 2 lands at The Other Room on Friday, March 27, 2026, doors open from 9:00 PM, and this one is stacked.

What Is Bass Bridges?

Bass Bridges is a recurring club night co-presented by Sick Leave and KAHLAJ – two of Colombo’s most respected underground collectives. The night exists to celebrate the full spectrum of bass music: dubstep, breakbeats, deep dub, 140, global bass, and every sub-genre in between. Low frequencies. High intention.

The Headliner: Ezzrei (Manila)

For this edition, Bass Bridges is proud to welcome Ezzrei – Manila-based DJ, producer, and curator, and the founder of Continuum Bass, the Philippines’ first platform dedicated to bass music and sound-system culture. Her sound is a powerful fusion of underground bass energy with Filipino identity and heritage, making her one of Southeast Asia’s most distinctive voices in the scene. This is a rare chance to experience her in Colombo.
